Teaching Workshops

• Basic Courses
  Need-based training courses are organised depending upon requests by researchers, members and paticipants. In the past, SANDEE has organised a Course in Microeconomics (2007), and Basic Econometrics (2008) as part of its Under-Served Areas programme.
  
  
• Environmental Economics Courses
  SANDEE organises a range of teaching courses often in collaboration with one or more institutions. The flagship course offered every summer is the "Environmental Economics Course". Approximately 25 participants from across South Asia are invited for training in basic environmental economics.
  
  
• Policy Dissemination Workshops
  These are geared to disseminate research outcomes amongst the policy makers of the region and the media.
  
  
• Advance Courses
  SANDE organizes various short term training advanced courses in specific areas of Environmental Economics to introduce participants to recent advances in the subject. In the recent past, we have orgnaised trianing in Climate Science, PES.
  
  
• Research and Writing Workshops
  SANDEE organizes Environmental Economics and Policy: Research and Writing Workshop that discusses key policy concerns in South Asia related to environmental economics and how economic research can help address them. During the workshop participants get opportunity to receive feedback on their proposed research questions and methodology.
  
  
• Proposal Writing Workshops
  In order to enhance skills in writing proposals for a research grant SANDEE organises short term workshops where participants work at improving the literature reviews, focusing the research questions and methods.
