Climate Change
These days we are making a huge noise regarding 'Climate Change'. Many programs are being initiated to adapt to changing climate and mitigate climate change. But do these initiatives have any positive impact? Another question - are we avoiding socially and personally the miscreants who have been enhancing the adverse impact of climate change? Now this is the time to ask, whether we are really interested to mitigate the adverse impact of climate change or interested in trading with this.

I agree: Effective mitigation of climate change requires new thinking, and transformation at the societal level. Industry is an important sector that must be held to account; and the regulatory environment must be enabling for making green innovations profitable. We must find a way to balance the demands of economic growth and reasonable levels of consumption. Recycle if you like, because it is the right thing to do - but don't think that changing your light-bulbs alone will save the planet! Do more and be more - what's the need to have more?!

Yes friend, its real that climate change is happening but all the discussions and meeting held till date seem as they are making this trading issue. All the research and discussions are confined to explore only the problems related to climate change. Who is giving the suitable measures to reduce and that is practicable.

ecosustem approach towards qualitative assessment
Economic development with no environmental control leads to an ecological or environmental degradation which adversely affect the quality of life. An ecosystem is a distinct area in the biosphere, where living and non living things interact within and between each other to produce a sustainable environment. In a nutshell, the eco-design is designing the built-environment as a system considering the ecological footprint of the area. Our myriad of construction, manufacturing and other activities are, in effect, making the biosphere more and more inorganic, artificial and increasingly biologically simplified. To continue without the balancing the biotic content means simply adding to the biosphere’s artificiality, thereby making it increasingly more and more inorganic. Exacerbating this are other environmentally destructive acts such as deforestation and pollution. This results in the biological simplification of the biosphere and reduction of its complexity and diversity. We must first reverse this trend and start by balancing our built environment with greater levels of biomass, ameliorating biodiversity and ecological connectivity in the built forms and complementing their inorganic content with appropriate biomass.

Climate change mainly impacts on coastal resources and agriculture in bangladesh. To adapt with this adverse situation we need a financial instrument such as crop insurance/disaster insurance.

Climate change
A dramatic increase in the level of interest and concern relating to the impact of “Climate Change” on Bangladesh is readily apparent. The consequential high level of visibility of this issue within Government, Civil Society and the international community has inevitably led to numerous initiatives, suggestions and promises of increased donor aid. This confluence of increased visibility and massive increases in funding possibilities in turn creates a number of significant institutional challenges. A clearly defined institutional framework, together with the appropriate supporting organisational processes, are both urgently required in order to enable the Government of Bangladesh and the international aid community to align and integrate their efforts. In this way the goals and objectives laid out elsewhere in this paper can be achieved.
